I don't know why you'd want to know, but my name is Aurora, or Ora for short. I may not be the best artist, but it sometimes helps me to post my work on the web so that I can come back one day and see how I've improved.


The Past
I used to have another account, but scrapped it and decided to have a fresh start. I transferred some work from my old account here (that's why some say (c) to soandso--it's me, but it was my old account).



My Artwork

Star Wars: Being a MAJOR Star Wars fan, I've started a novel/comic based off the Star Wars Universe. It's still in the process of being designed. It's been scrapped, redone, drawn, scrapped, editted, redrawn. It's a VERY repeatative process, but I can't seem to be satisfied with my results. I've decided to post some work here for now, or at least until I get a better idea where this project is going.

BTW, some of my Star Wars art doesn't look very Star Wars related, but trust me, it is. I've carefully researched various Star Wars worlds, have constructed and reconstructed entire races, and I worked out exactly how each fits into the Star Wars universe. If, or when, I finally write this thing it'll become very clear, but for now I will only put short descriptions of each character as I add them. The stories and descriptions may change as I redesign my project.

Subeta: That's right! I've recently been drawn into the world of Subeta, leaving behind the enjoyable, but tightly rule-restricted Neopets. So I will be adding plenty of Subeta work as I complete them.

Neopets: Now, sadly a thing of the past, I only have ancient drawings of this once magical Neopian world. I may add a few rare Neopet images, but not many.

Graphics: I tend to add graphics to my Deviant Account even though it's dedicated to my drawings. It's a bad habit I guess. So just ignore them if you want.

Alfred: My little character that I've been drawing since before I can remember. He's a little jelly fish in the deep blue sea.

NOTE: That's it I guess. Most of my artwork has been left in sketch form due to my inablity to color my work with Paint Shop Pro 8. I'm looking for tutorials and experimenting until I feel I can do any of my work justice. Help is warmly welcomed!
